Brenda, Founder of ESRD Care Partner Training.
Brenda launched ESRD Care Partner Training in January 2021 after introducing ESRD Rockstars Inc. years earlier, where they encourage caregivers to make themselves a priority, so that they can continue caring for the ones they love.
Brenda regular advocate for end stage renal disease care partners and look for way to make their lives and caregiving journey more manageable.
About Brenda
Brenda Taylor encountered becoming a personal caregiver at a young age. After many years of caring for her husband her responsibilities escalated enormously. During this period she learned of the limited resources available. She would also learn that caregivers are at a much higher risk for stress related illnesses, such as depressions and heart attacks. Looking for support to make her life easier and finding that there wasn't much available, she begin to advocate for caregivers. After an enormous amount of research, what she would find out about this process was life changing.
Working in hospital administration
Working in hospital administration over twenty years as well as her experience in Aging and Healthcare Resources has given her the knowledge and expertise to navigate through what can become a complex and frustrating processes to find the right answers and resources needed for family members and love ones supporting ESRD patients. Brenda is a Certified Senior Advisor, Caregiving Consultant and Educator. She merges her experience as caregiver for her husband and daughter with over twenty years in educational training and patient support services related to end stage renal disease. Brenda also serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for The Renal Network/ESRD Network 10 as well as The Learning & Action Network (LAN) for The National Coordinating Center (NCC).

As keynote speaker, she has presented at LAN/NCC Annual Conference, National Kidney Foundation of Illinois (NKFI), American Association for Kidney Patients (AAKP). ESRD Rockstars was featured as the cover story for AAKP Magazine. Brenda She is also featured in many webinars and partnered with major organizations supporting patients with kidney disease.
Brenda's goal is to continue assisting family members and love ones in identifying barriers when caring for patients who have ESRD and provide support for those struggling with managing their lives while caring for their love one.
